At MobStac, being avid consumers of blogs and social media on the go, we’re always working towards making your mobile sites more interactive and social. Today we’ve added two new features which help you integrate your mobile site better with Facebook through support for the ‘Like’ button and Facebook Comments.
At the bottom of a post your readers will now see a Facebook ‘Like’ button which they can click on to tell their friends and followers that they like your post.
In addition, you can now have Facebook comments (we’ve supported Disqus comments for a while now) on your MobStac site if you are already using Facebook comments on your website. The comments your readers post on the mobile site will be synchronized with the website and vice versa. To activate Facebook comments, you just need to Sign in to your MobStac Dashboard, go to the Settings tab and enter your Facebook profile id, application id, or both (the same as you use on your website) to moderate comments. Hit ‘Save’ and you are good to go.

If the reader chooses to (the setting is ‘ON’ by default) the comment she posts will also be published to her friends’ Facebook News Stream. In addition, if her friends comment from within Facebook, this activity too will be synced with your site comments.

Facebook comments give your content very tight social context and reduce comment spam drastically on your website because people are required to be signed in using their Facebook accounts. People are shown the most relevant comments when they come to the site thus adding to the quality of comments. If you are not using Facebook comments on your site, you can do so by following these easy instructions.
